Workstream Awarded GSA Schedule For Comprehensive Suite Of Talent
Management Solutions

New Five-Year GSA Schedule Streamlines Procurement Process

Burlingame, CA – February 20, 2008 - Workstream Inc. (NASDAQ: WSTM), a leading provider of on-demand compensation, performance, and talent management solutions, today announced it has been awarded a five-year General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule 70 contract by the U.S. government that will streamline procurement of Workstream talent management solutions by federal, state and local agencies as well as tribes and universities.

Securing the GSA schedule will simplify the process by which Workstream sells to government entities by eliminating the need for agencies to secure a request for proposal. Instead, agencies need only obtain a request for quote before pursuing a transaction with Workstream. Already with a sizable installed base of government customers, the new GSA contract will enable Workstream to sell its talent management solutions to agencies and government-subsidized institutions directly, rather than through a third party vendor.

"The hard work required to obtain a GSA schedule demonstrates Workstream’s commitment to serving this important and growing market segment," said Deepak Gupta, CEO for Workstream. "In government, there is intense demand for technology solutions that improve an organization’s ability to find and retain the best workers. Workstream’s new GSA contract will make it easier than ever for government agencies to leverage the industry’s leading on-demand talent management suite."

GSA's Federal Supply Schedules, also known as Multiple Award Schedules, are contracts that allow federal customers to acquire more than 4 million services and products directly from over 8,600 commercial suppliers. The Schedules Program provides the lowest cost access to the world’s largest customer, the U.S. Government. The Federal Supply Schedules Program has become the most widely used acquisition vehicle in the federal government for the purchase of commercial products and services. Schedules Program sales now exceed $26 billion annually and is growing at the rate of more than $2 billion a year.
